People And Places Photographic Exhibition in The Workhouse Gallery

An exhibition of photographic works by five locally based photographers curated by Cordelia Weedon.

Each photographer shows their own distinctive and individual approach to the art of capturing a place or person through the lens.

The photographs have all been taken within the local area and will no doubt bring back fond memories and reminiscences to members of our local community but go far beyond that as they distil the essence and beauty of the Mid Wales countryside and people.

Curator Cordelia Weedon lives and works as a freelance professional photographer in Llanfyllin and has been documenting the local landscape, people and events for a number of years, she also runs photographic projects within the community and in London and has a permanent collection of new works on show in the cafe space at the Ruthin Craft Centre.
